XPLOR Algarve is a dynamic and immersive training course designed for teachers and education professionals who wish to integrate outdoor learning methodologies into their daily practice.
Led by Daniela Luz, this course combines experiential pedagogy, coastal exploration and reflective practice, fully aligned with key Erasmus+ priorities: sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, innovation and active participation.
Participants will explore how to transform natural environments into powerful learning spaces, using project-based approaches, collaborative activities and structured reflection tools. All field activities take place in some of the Algarve’s most iconic beaches, within a short distance from Ferragudo.
Learning Outcomes
Participants to the course will learn to:
Design and implement outdoor learning experiences
Apply project-based learning in real-world contexts
Promote environmental awareness and sustainability education
Foster student wellbeing through nature-based approaches
Develop inclusive teaching strategies in outdoor settings

Course participants will receive training and engage in exercises designed to develop their skills as trainers. The provision of additional materials or resources will be determined based on the course structure and the instructor’s approach to meeting the learning objectives
