C.L.A.S.S. MADEIRA is a practical, hands-on training course designed to help teachers transform classroom dynamics through effective classroom management strategies, emotional regulation techniques, and student engagement tools.


The course combines pedagogical frameworks, behaviour management strategies, and body-based regulation practices (including mindfulness and gentle movement) to support inclusive, focused and positive learning environments.


Participants will also engage in an outdoor learning experience in Madeira, applying observation-based strategies to real educational contexts.

Day 1 (Monday – Morning | Indoor Training)

Foundations of Classroom Management

  • What really drives classroom behaviour

  • Teacher presence, authority and consistency

  • Proactive vs reactive management strategies

  • Building a positive classroom climate


Day 2 (Tuesday – Field Trip | Outdoor Learning in Madeira)

Behaviour, Observation & Real Context Learning

  • Observing group dynamics in real environments

  • Behaviour patterns outside the classroom

  • Group regulation and leadership tasks

  • Reflection on attention, focus and social behaviour in action


Day 3 (Wednesday – Morning | Indoor Training)

Emotions, Attention & Regulation

  • Social and Emotional Intelligence in classroom practice

  • Understanding triggers behind disruptive behaviour

  • Tools for emotional regulation in teachers and students

  • Micro-strategies for refocusing attention


Day 4 (Thursday – Morning | Indoor Training)

Inclusive Classroom Strategies

  • Supporting diverse learners in mainstream classrooms

  • ASD and ADHD strategies in practice

  • Preventing exclusion through structure and clarity

  • Building predictable and safe learning environments


Day 5 (Friday – Morning | Indoor Training)

Active Classroom Leadership & Engagement

  • Student-centred classroom organisation

  • Engagement techniques and participation structures

  • Conflict prevention and de-escalation strategies

  • Designing routines for better learning flow


Day 6 (Saturday – Morning | Outdoor Closing Session)

Integration, Reflection & Wellbeing

  • Action plan for classroom implementation

  • Peer sharing and feedback

  • Final reflection on practice

  • Certificate delivery ceremony

  • Gentle outdoor yoga & regulation session in nature (Madeira)

Course participants will receive training and engage in exercises designed to develop their skills as trainers. The provision of additional materials or resources will be determined based on the course structure and the instructor’s approach to meeting the learning objectives​​
