AI & Wellbeing — Technology, Balance and the Mindful Teacher
6 days
Teacher burnout is one of the most urgent challenges in European education. AI, used thoughtfully, can reduce the administrative load that drives exhaustion — freeing teachers to do what matters most. But AI can also increase anxiety, distraction and digital overwhelm.
This course explores both sides honestly. Participants develop a mindful relationship with AI technology: using it purposefully to reduce workload, while building digital boundaries that protect health, creativity and professional fulfilment. A course that no competitor currently offers.
Learning Outcomes
Participants to the course will learn to:
Use AI to substantially reduce marking, planning and administrative workload
Design an AI-powered personal productivity system aligned with teacher wellbeing
Facilitate student digital wellbeing programmes using AI as both tool and topic
Recognise and address AI anxiety, over-reliance and techno-stress in school communities
Build a school digital wellbeing policy integrating clear AI use guidelines
Connect wellbeing education to Erasmus+ mental health and inclusion priorities
