Effective communication is at the core of successful teaching, positive classroom management and strong school communities. This course is designed to help teachers and education professionals strengthen their communication skills when interacting with students, parents and colleagues.
Participants will explore practical strategies to improve clarity, empathy and assertiveness in different educational contexts. Special attention is given to difficult conversations, conflict resolution, active listening and non-verbal communication. The course also addresses communication with parents in challenging situations and promotes collaborative teamwork within schools.
Through experiential activities, role-play and real-case analysis, participants will develop tools they can immediately apply in their professional practice to improve relationships, reduce misunderstandings and build trust.

Verbal vs non-verbal communication
Self-assessment of personal communication style
Day 2 – Active Listening and Empathy
What active listening really means in practice
Techniques to improve attention and understanding
Empathy as a communication tool
Practical listening exercises and simulations
Day 3 – Assertive Communication in the Classroom
Passive, aggressive and assertive communication styles
Setting boundaries with clarity and respect
Classroom language that supports behaviour management
Role-play: classroom communication scenarios
Day 4 – Communication with Parents
Building trustful relationships with families
Handling difficult conversations with parents
Delivering feedback in a constructive way
Cultural sensitivity and expectations in parent communication
Day 5 – Communication in School Teams
Improving collaboration among colleagues
