Strong school teams are at the heart of successful educational environments. This course is designed to help teachers and school staff strengthen collaboration, trust and communication within their teams, leading to more effective teaching and a more positive school culture.


Participants will explore the dynamics of teamwork in educational settings, focusing on trust-building, communication, shared responsibility and conflict resolution. Through practical activities and reflective exercises, the course supports participants in understanding their role within a team and improving collective performance.


The training is highly interactive, using experiential learning methods, simulations and real-case scenarios to develop practical strategies that can be applied immediately in school contexts.

Day 1 – Foundations of Effective Teamwork

  • What makes a strong school team?

  • Roles and responsibilities within teams

  • Stages of team development

  • Self-assessment: my role in the team


Day 2 – Trust and Communication in Teams

  • Building trust in professional environments

  • Communication styles in team settings

  • Active listening and feedback

  • Practical team communication exercises


Day 3 – Collaboration and Shared Responsibility

  • From individual work to collaborative practice

  • Sharing goals and responsibilities

  • Overcoming resistance to teamwork

  • Group problem-solving activities


Day 4 – Conflict Management in School Teams

  • Sources of conflict in educational teams

  • Constructive vs destructive conflict

  • Strategies for resolution and mediation

  • Role-play based scenarios


Day 5 – Leadership and Team Roles

  • Formal and informal leadership in schools

  • Understanding team roles and dynamics

  • Supporting distributed leadership

  • Strengthening team effectiveness


Day 6 – Building a Stronger School Team Plan

  • Designing a team development action plan

  • Identifying priorities for school improvement

  • Group presentations and feedback

  • Final reflection and course evaluation
