A.T.T.E.N.T.I.O.N. LAB MADEIRA - Awareness Training for Teaching, Engagement & Neural Transformation
6 days
A.T.T.E.N.T.I.O.N. LAB MADEIRA is a practical, research-informed training course focused on understanding and improving student attention in classroom settings.
The course explores how attention works, why students disengage, and how teachers can design learning environments that reduce distraction and increase focus.
It combines attention science, classroom strategies and simple body–mind regulation techniques to help educators create more focused, active and effective learning experiences.
Learning Outcomes
Participants to the course will learn to:
Understand the mechanisms of attention, distraction and cognitive focus
Identify causes of disengagement in classroom environments
Apply strategies to improve sustained attention in learners
Design lessons that reduce cognitive overload and increase engagement
Use simple body–mind techniques to reset attention in real time
Integrate active learning methods to support focus and participation
Improve classroom flow and learning efficiency
