Mindfulness has become an essential tool for improving wellbeing, focus, emotional regulation and classroom climate. This course is designed for teachers and education professionals who want to integrate mindfulness practices into their personal routines and classroom practice in a realistic, non-dogmatic and school-friendly way.


Participants will experience a variety of mindfulness techniques adapted to educational contexts, including breathing practices, attention training, body awareness and short classroom interventions. The course also explores the neuroscience behind attention and stress, helping teachers understand how mindfulness supports learning and behaviour.


The training focuses on practical application, ensuring that participants leave with ready-to-use tools for both their own wellbeing and their students’ development.

Mindfulness in Education: Practices for Teachers and Classrooms

Day 1 – Introduction to Mindfulness in Education

  • What mindfulness is (and what it is not)

  • Benefits for teachers and students

  • Attention, awareness and the learning process

  • First guided mindfulness practice


Day 2 – Attention and Focus Training

  • How attention works in the brain

  • Common distractions in school environments

  • Practical focus-building exercises

  • Classroom attention strategies


Day 3 – Breathing and Stress Regulation

  • The role of breath in emotional regulation

  • Breathing techniques for stress reduction

  • Applying breathing exercises in the classroom

  • Practical guided sessions


Day 4 – Emotional Awareness Through Mindfulness

  • Observing emotions without reacting automatically

  • Mindfulness and emotional regulation

  • Supporting students in emotional moments

  • Case-based practice


Day 5 – Mindfulness in Classroom Practice

  • Short mindfulness routines for lessons

  • Integrating mindfulness into different subjects

  • Age-appropriate adaptations

  • Designing classroom activities


Day 6 – Building a Mindful School Practice

  • Creating a personal mindfulness plan for teaching

  • Group design of classroom interventions

  • Sharing of best practices

  • Final reflection and course evaluation
